One of the most classic and timeless makeup looks is created with red lipstick. A bold and vibrant red lip can elevate any outfit and add a touch of glamour to your overall look. However, figuring out what eye makeup or blush to pair with it can also be a little intimidating. Again, one of the classiest looks is with bold red lips, subtle blush, and a dark black winged eyeliner look with a thick coat of mascara. But I am a weirdo. I like to challenge myself to bring a change and to create makeup looks that look natural and very minimalistic.
I start my makeup by building my base. And for my base, I am using only one product, which is a tinted moisturizer. I am using Nars tinted moisturizer with SPF 30. The best thing about this product is that not only does it moisturize my face but it also adds a little tint which gives me light coverage, precisely the kind of look I am looking for.
Next, I like to contour my face as it helps to lift and sculpt my face. I am using a cream contour; cream contours are easily blendable and give a smooth finish without being overwhelming. I am using Huda Beauty’s Tantour.
After this step, you can apply blush next, but blushes are not for me. So I use a bronzer to further smooth the contour and snatch my features perfectly. I am using Dior’s Bronzer in warm bronze. It’s a neutral shade and looks great on me.
Lastly, for the lipstick, I am not using a vibrant red lip color; rather, I like to go for a rosier-colored red. It gives my lips a more luscious look. I am wearing sexy red lipstick by Anastasia.
How can I forget? Mascara is a crucial need for the eye. It brings more definition and makes your eyes look bigger.
My look is complete, and I purchased all my makeup products from Sephora to create this look.
